Description

Twenty-year-old Emily is a new comer to couples skating, but she and her partner Chris have a large dream–to function as the first American team to win Olympic gold. Their youthful mentor Sergei, who left Russia following a mystical finish to his skating career, thinks they are able to create background and break-through. Chris and Emily are on the right track to become leading competitors in the 2002 Winter Games. Nevertheless when unacceptable emotions ignite between Emily and Sergei, an urgent adversary and damaged confidence threaten to destroy Emily’s desires of platinum.
