Description

Following a notably long and, sometimes, unusual courtship, Claire Malloy -- just one, widowed mother-of a teen-age girl and a bookseller in Farberville, Arkansas - has finally said 'I do' to her swain, Lt. Peter Rosen of the Farberville Police Department. Now they're on their honeymoon in Luxor, Egypt. Effectively, Claire is on her honeymoon - followed closely by Caron, her teenaged girl, and Inez, Caronis closest friend and regular companion in adventure. Peter is mainly absent on numerous mysterious services with similarly mysterious government companies is his fresh, totally undiscussed, part in-law enforcement.  Staying in the attractive Winter Palace in Luxor, Claire is intent on a peaceful, uneventful honeymoon concerning buying, tourist sites, and, when it can’t prevented, beverages with the neighborhood British expatriate contingent. But despite her determined efforts to prevent any participation in events, the tenor of the journey rapidly changes from rustic to creepy.  Caron, Initial and Inez are chased through dim empty alleys by individuals unfamiliar.
