Description

The Cold-War is finished and Ned hasbeen demoted for the education school. He requires his previous coach, George Smiley, to deal with his moving-out course. You can find no washed recollections; the truth is spoken by Smiley - probably the last the pupils may actually notice. Because they hear, Ned evokes their own unpleasant triumphs and inglorious problems, in a lifetime career that took him from the Western Isles of Scotland to Hamburg and from Israel to Cambodia.
