Description

On an earlier spring day in Richmond, Virginia, in the entire year 1885, a pregnant woman is located hanging in the town tank. It seems that she's committed suicide, but you will find interested clues at the scene that suggest strong play. Local attention is attracted by the case, and an odd number of males collaborate to resolve the crime. Investigator Port Wren hides in the shadows, weaseling his way in to the intimidating witnesses and analysis.
