In a far future, two anthropologists, major, effective, dissolute Emilio Rodriguez, and ambitious, young, trusting Allan Brenner, who, unbeknownst to herself, bears historic genes, of the kind no further welcome on House Globe, have now been designated to perform research on Abydos, a deeply wooded, wilderness earth of tiny notice, whose only proof of culture is just a simple enclave, tiny, tough, faded Organization Station, a fueling station periodically employed by celebrity freighters. Inside the woodland, some times from Organization Stop, would be the Pons, several little, simian-seeming microorganisms which appears close to the crossroads between realistic and pet beast, between culture and nature. They'd appear to represent a perfect subject of research regarding the roots of, and fundamentals of, world. How came it about, so to speak, that anything once surfaced in the lair, or cavern, that was unique, significantly so?
