Description

In a remote section of Iceland, a child and his buddy Barður join a vessel to catch cod. A winter storm succumbs to the cold, that has neglected his water-resistant as he was also consumed in “Paradise Lost”, surprises them out at ocean and Barður and dies. Shocked by the demise and by the callous capability to go about gutting the catch, the child leaves the town, planning to return the book to its owner. The severe threat and difficulty of the trip is of small consequence to him – he's previously solved to become listed on his friend in death.
