Description

The entire year is 1016 and Britain burns as the Viking armies blockade the truly amazing metropolis of London. King Ethelred lies dying and the England he understood dies with him; the warring kingdoms of Mercia, Wessex and Northymbria move on the edge of great change. One guy lives to bear witness for the trauma: Godwin, barely out-of boyhood and meant to become one of his country's excellent players.
