September 1952 is teen-aged Raleigh Buchanan’s last holiday on Nation Lake, New Hampshire, where for the prior two summers an Irish child and he had exchanged records. Experiencing the familiar dash of interest, Raleigh eliminates the kid’s newest notice from behind the ceramic half moon added above the bungalow doorway. The notice includes a half -composed in Gaelic. Annoyed and mystified, he places the notice away with additional idiotic issues – soon-to be-forgotten.
