Welcome to Eddie's Pub, the only real operating waterhole in a near-lifeless city. One of the people you will meet today are: Ben, Landmark's haunted lawman, who walks in the darkness of death; Gracie, the barmaid, a wannabe actor, condemned to invest her hrs tending bar in a purgatory of her dad's producing; Flo, the city seductress, who may or may not need killed her partner; Cobb, a nudist expecting an apology in the commune who cast him out; Freezing, the mute giant, whose tale is told simply in cryptic messages scribbled beneath magazine statements; Kyle, the little one, who keeps a loaded weapon beneath the desk; and Cadaver, who appears like a corpse, but smells real good, and consumes his time checking piles of cents. And then there's Reverend Mountain, who'll maintain at eleven, regular as clockwork, to inform them who's going to operate a vehicle, and who's going to expire. Welcome to Eddie's, where today, for the very first time in 3 years, nothing can proceed based on plan.
