Description

When successful neurosurgeon Steve MacAndrews works a routine procedure to get rid of a cyst, the in-patient undergoes a serious character change post-surgery. Hartmanis Cyst is identified, a rare situation which leaves its victims deranged and meant to become limited to mental institutions. There's no option-but to truly have the individual dedicated. Together with his profession approaching wreck, MacAndrew trips to his native Scotland to lick his wounds and it's there that he makes further findings concerning the substance that caused it and the strange disease.
