Description

Chief Nemo is the fictional life-story of 1 of Jules Verne's most remarkable figures from 20,000 Leagues Underneath the Sea and The Mysterious Area. It addresses his boyhood friendship with the activities aboard sailing vessels, dreamer, Jules Verne, battles with pirates, and success on a mysterious deserted island. Every time he returns home to his beloved France, Chief Nemo shares the stories of his exploits with the struggling author Verne. We follow Nemois pursuit of hidden caverns that result in the middle of our planet, moves across darkest Africa in a hydrogen balloon, and his incarceration by a bad Ottoman caliph who requires the black guru to create a sub-maritime vessel, the Nautilus, to be able to attack merchant vessels that enterprise through the recently finished Suez Canal.
