Description

A neighborhood and household become taken-up in a tempest of misfortune and abuse. After John Sayre starts sliding down at unusual hours in the family farm, his wife Frances begins to believe that he’s registered a recently-elevated section of the Ku Klux Klan. From the time their small boy finds the corpse of a lynched black male across the side of the nearby dirt path, Frances Sayre has already established enough. As his spouse worries but Steve hasn’t joined the ranks of the KKK.
