Description

Mount veterinarian Gail McCarthy's existence becomes stranger than fiction when her previous sweetheart, Lonny Peterson, is imprisoned for homicide-by none other than Gail's childhood buddy, Bret Boncantini, now a sheriff's deputy in a Sierra foothills city. Lonny is accused of the killing of two nearby livestock auctioneers, one his partner and another her sibling. Both Gail and Bret are certain of Lonny's purity, and choose to investigate.
