Bookseller Bernie Rhodenbarris in love—with an unique Eastern European elegance who gives his infatuation with Humphrey Bogart films. He is in heaven, munching popcorn together with his new amour every evening in a Bogart Movie Festival—until their Casablanca-esque idyll is cut short by his additional key interest: theft. When he is employed to pilfer a profile of useful files from the Park Avenue apartment, Bernie could scarcely decline.
