When Jaineis buddy Lance surprises her with a visit to The Haven, a luxurious club to the California coastline, she and her feline companion Prozac are wanting to reach the street and bask in per week of pampering and pedicures. But upon their arrival, she finds this retreat in the slopes is just a fat village in cover, filled with oatmeal-juice drinks, embarrassing weigh-ins, and a zero-tolerance position on carbohydrates. And as she reaches know her other inmates, she understands 300-fat meals are not the craziest thing she'll be coping with. Among her fat-fighting buddies is Mallory Francis, ab-list superstar with a talent to make frenemies with everybody she meets.
