Description

Forgotten by her father throughout the Depression, eleven-year-old Elsie lives in the storage behind her old home with her mom, grandma Nan and out-of-function dad. She is accompanied by Elsie 's friend Scoop as she looks for her father in the town, experiencing unfavorable hobos, food outlines and shantytowns. Information and Elsie ultimately uncover them competitive in a dance convention, after both her dad and her mom vanish on mysterious errands. Convincing them to depart the competition, Elsie and Information direct the performers house, where Nan has information of Elsie's dad and his upcoming go back to the household.
