Description

While vagabond author Liz Sullivan rests innocently in her '69 VW microbus, somebody parks a lifeless body under it. She is typed by the police whilst the assassin--until she's got a much better option, because she'd had words with the target hours before. Difficult for an established loner like Liz, who has one dangerous adversary and evidently several friends. Fortunately, her friends are far more numerous than she thought: the wise old women in her writing course, a captivating property developer, and perhaps actually fine detective Paul Drake--if he gets over-thinking sheis the monster.
