Whenever we last saw Albert Schmidt Esq. (“Schmidtie” to any or all near and dear), he'd been removed from heaven: his love Carrie, the Puerto Rican server forty years his senior, had adopted with a blonde giant nearer her era and probably the father of her baby—assuming it isn’t Schmidt. Meanwhile, his just verified kid, Charlotte, had suggested a truce within their continually drained relationships, which Schmidt approved, despite its obliging him to continue transactions with her repugnant man and her mother-in-law-cum-doctor, whose life’s function hasbeen switching Charlotte decisively against Schmidt.   The curtain rises on Schmidt Actions Again some thirteen years afterwards: New Year’s Eve 2008, the beginning of age Barak.
