When Main Honest Paddock and Barnes Kilrone were running young officials in London, they both fell in deep love with exactly the same lady. However now they're men in exile in another of the toughest areas of the National West. It's from this unfriendly background, where survival itself is just a day-to-day challenge, that Paddock makes a fateful choice that may dive both men right into a headlong fight due to their lives and the lives they’re sworn to safeguard.
