Description

Cess works taking care of the hens at Montacute House-But on her behalf thirteenth birthday anything changes. She discovers a locket concealed inside the chicken house and is confident on her to locate it have been placed by someone there. However like a child's body is located by the water the evening is overshadowed by concern, and when Bill vanishes, Cess is charged by the villagers of bewitching her closest friend. Cess is decided to locate Bill and show the villagers incorrect, but is quickly involved in a plot that threatens her planet and causes Cess to attract on powers she never knew she possessed, powers that may place her life at risk if they're found by the villagers.
