Inventor of the current female private-eye tale, Marcia Muller hasbeen publishing stories and books about Sharon McCone since 1977. Along the way McCone has acquired a number of affiliates and shaped her very own detective agency. Some seven years back, Marcia Muller chose to present visitors various sights of her sleuth by relating instances through the eyes of McCone's co-workers. McCone and Friends includes three tales informed by McCone himself, in addition to a novella and a brief story read by the company's examiner Rae Kelleher, a story from the standpoint of its workplace supervisor Ted Smalley, a study performed by McCone's nephew Mick Savage, and one by her long term lover Hy Ripinsky.
