Nick Graves is just a Mourner. His occupation would be to prepare memorials and manage events for hangings in addition to wakes, supplementing his meager income by creating coffins. He's arrived at this work, a career he learned from his dad, after decades producing his coping with an awesome nerve and a quick sketch. Today he really wants to forget his past, forget the damage he's brought on by accepting a peaceful career and an easy lifestyle.
