Description
It's 1962, a year following the death of Sam's father--he was a war hero--and her mom and Sam should transfer, with their extremely generous opinions, to Jackson, Mississippi, her father's traditional neighborhood. Obviously, they do not very fit in. People such as the McLemores concern that Mike, her mother, and her motheris musician friend, Perry, have been in the South to "agitate" and to shake-up the separating lines between black and white and blur everything to gray. As racial injustices occur--sit-ins and run-ins with key white supremacists--Mike discovers to concentrate with her camera lens to create forth the cultural injustice out of the night and in to the light.
