Bossy may "optimize the mind,and give you everlasting childhood in to the discount, but only when youare prepared to depart all of your favorite prejudices." When offered the option of admitting they certainly were wrong and consequently to be able to take advantage of Bossy's capabilities, many people prefer to be correct, nevertheless, and Bossy's capability to confer immortality is nearly built inadequate by humanity's anxiety about "her." They'd Rather Be Right was initially printed as a four-part serial in Astounding Science-Fiction from July 1954 to November 1954. It was printed as a guide in 1957 by Gnome Media, and a heavily cut version was launched the next year underneath the name The Forever Device.
