In the little fishing town of Parkers, Maryland, on the Chesapeake Bay, there's no further self-sufficient spirit compared to single oysterman or crabber who sets out each and every morning in pre-dawn hours to find oyster beds or clear his crab pots. It is a tough existence. When Jimmy Shannon, a Chesapeake waterman, dies throughout a vacation fishing vacation for Blue Fin Tuna, it is almost incredible. Stranger still, is his final will and testament that needs his buddy Ned Shannon to stop his law practice in Washington, D.C.
