Description

Detective Inspector Hideo Aoki discovers that his case against ex-Governor Tamaki--one that he's been developing for weeks-- has been dismantled. Rattled by this instruction, his life starts to spiral unmanageable, supported by his infatuation within the situation, heavy-drinking, and many consequences also near to home.  Within an attempt to simply help the psychologically unpredictable Aoki, law enforcement office directs him into a distant Western hill retreat.What was said to be a soothing stay for the recently hanging detective rather becomes a hotbed of suspense.   Quickly, common people, furtive looks, key supper discussions and hiding strategies create Aoki understand that the visitors in the Kamakura Motel aren't unrelated. It becomes clear that anything beyond chance has set them together; politician, bank, hanging investigator, and an evasive Move grasp who manipulates Aoki like his game table items. The guests are trapped by a sudden snowstorm together just like Aoki starts to piece together each visitoris link with an unsolved disappearance decades preceding.
