In another where technology has multiplied human development, mankind diverges into two distinct species: a genetically improved "regular people or Mongrels" and super race. Years of discrimination result in a brutal battle that ends with the race entirely control; the Mongrels, subservient and beaten, secretly desire for vengeance. Both factors understand, nonetheless, that the renewed battle may fundamentally have just one result: extinction.Mark Henshaw is just a Mongrel residing in Birmingham. Imprisoned for an offense, he is deported to a labor camp, in which a desperate prisoner entrusts him with information on a plan to topple the program.
