Description

Velvet is just a laundress in a Victorian water washing. With both her mother and father dead, she's an orphan and needs to trust her own wits to create a living. The washingis function is back breaking and Velvet is eager to produce a better life for himself. Subsequently Velvet is observed by Madame Savoya, a medium, who requires Velvet to come quickly to work with her.
