In his eighty-plus decades, Max Evans has possessed, ridden, recognized, and been tossed by a significant quantity of mounts. In For the Love of the Horse, Evans gives his beloved horse experiences for all to savor. "I needed a broad selection of activities from a feeling of heritage of these specific times, and another period, with different mounts, of different types, as Max explains." Max starts together with his first mount, Cricket, which he obtained when he was four yrs old. In the age of five, he contributed to a mount-push from much south New Mexico, through west Texas, and onto the ultimate location in Guymon, Oklahoma.
