Former pop-star Heather Wells has settled nicely into her new existence as assistant dorm director at New York College—a profession that doesn't need her to hang her size 12 body in embarrassingly revealing clothes. She may even deal (kind of) with her musician ex boyfriend's approaching weddings, that the media has named The Superstar Wedding of the Decade. But she is certainly having difficulty coping with the problem within the college kitchen—where a supporter has misplaced her directly the very first day of the term. (Really, her mind is accounted for—it's her body that's AWOL.) Encased by hysterical students—with her ex-con dad on her ex and doorstep -love pestering her with unwanted telephone calls—Heather embraces the chance to enjoy detective.
