Alana understands the stories of selchies, the ocean-fey who abandon their seal-like pelts behind once they go on-land, moving for people. But she never thought she'd fulfill one—let alone two—on the night time of an otherwise forgettable seaside celebration. The selchie Murrin, however, has long thought really achieving Alana, the lady he's selected within the ocean. He never anticipated that the assembly would be so complex, or that a classic competition would create successful Alanais trust—and love—so challenging.
