In this book, Susan Bell tells the tale of her candidacy in Fairfield, Mo's annual elegance contest. Currently married and with teen-age kids in St. Louis, she recounts her vibrant journey in this small-town along America's Freeway. At the same time frame, she plans a go back to Fairfield to be able to correct injustices she seems were completed with a small participants in the Miss Route 66 Contest.
