Description

The harrowing story of Erin of Elliath, healer and warrior, proceeds in this bout of the fight between bad and good. Erin denies her placement as Woman Sara, spouse for the First Servant of the Dark Center when, she escapes from her husband’s world with the Patriarch of Culverne of Darin, the aid and the final of his line. After mixing forces with the deposed king of Marantine and a mystical previous man—who has miraculous abilities that neither Erin or Darin can identify—the foursome hatch an agenda to wrestle control of the usurped empire of Marantine from the priests of the Dark Center. Meanwhile, Erin continues to have a problem with her part in the infidelity of her people, the deaths of her many precious friends, in addition to her emotions for the person who condemned them for her benefit.
