Description

Jean-Baptiste Baratte, an engineer of moderate source, comes in the town in 1785, billed from the King’s reverend with draining the stuffed graveyard of Les Innocents, a historic website whose smell is harming the neighborhood’s atmosphere and water and making a disgusting taste in its inhabitants’ food. In the beginning the formidable Baratte views his are an opportunity to clear the responsibility of record, a task for a contemporary person of cause. But in a short time he starts to believe that the damage of the graveyard may be a prelude to both their own death and that of the monarchy. Baratte needs the job to be uncomfortable but can't anticipate the dramas and disasters it'll induce, or the event that will change his life.
