Description

Adolescent Johanna lives with her cousin Solveig in a little home highlighting the woodland on the outskirts of the rural coastal city in Finland. She leads a lonely lifestyle that's punctuated by trips to her fortunate classmate, Ulla Bäckström, who lives in the nearby luxurious gated-community. It isn’t till Ulla informs her the neighborhood lore concerning the catastrophe and the American woman that happened significantly more than thirty years before that Johanna starts to question how her parents squeeze into the tale. She sets out to solve her genealogy, the identification of her mom, and the dark secrets long-buried with her dad.
