Description

Scottish marauders, incensed at England's King Charles I and emboldened after reaching the upper-hand within the Bishop's Battle of 1640, cause havoc on the residents of Northumberland, England, and Woman Mariel Hayes finds himself at the mercy of the property starving Baron Harold Flanders after her father is killed in a border raid. Mariel prays for divine intervention, helpless to truly save himself from having to wed the Flanders. Nevertheless when her answer comes, it demonstrates more frightening than soothing as Mariel discovers that by order of the top, she's to wed the dim and mystical Baron Gervace Daltry, whilst the Hound of Hell known far and wide. Mariel attempts to simply accept this new life with her dim Baron, a guy whose strategies bother her even while his contact inflames her physique.
