Description

It’s a chilly, dismal January in the sleepy town of Finch and Lori Shepherd has two mix-nuts seven-year-old kids on her behalf fingers. Then when her close friend Bree Pym indicates a trip to Skeaping Way, the Jacobean -home-turned-museum, Lori jumps at the opportunity. There she meets Daisy Pickering, a nice (if your little peculiar) nine-year-old dressed up in a cheap red parka who regales Lori having a crazy story concerning the Russian aristocrats who once possessed the invaluable gold items on show.
