When Katie views gadget bats hanging from the roof of class 4A, she believes they truly are Halloween arrangements till Mr. Gary turns up and describes the class will study nocturnal creatures. A trip to the zoo starts way cool but rapidly moves downhill: Becky and Suzanne will not stop fighting and subsequently Katie finds himself dangling inverted within the Bat Cave.
