Fighting to maintain a grasp on reality and set adrift by his wife’s destruction, Rabbit Munro does the one thing he could think about: together with his young child in tow, he hits the street. To his boy, waiting patiently in the vehicle while his dad peddles elegance quickies and items to lonely housewives in the south of England, Rabbit is just an idol, larger-than-life. But Rabbit herself, haunted by what may be his wife’s cat, appears only dimly conscious of his son’s lifestyle. Rabbit ultimately starts to identify the love he feels for his boy, when his weird journey tones when he can't make sure what's true and what's not, right into a final reckoning.
