Tarl Cabot has always thought herself to become a resident of planet. He's no inkling that his future is much more than the little world he's inhabited for the very first twenty-odd years of his existence. One cold winter evening in the Brand New England woods, he finds herself transported to our planet of Gor, also called Counter-Earth, where everything is significantly not the same as anything he's ever experienced. It exists that Tarl will be educated like a Tarnsman, among the most privileged jobs within the firm, caste-bound Gorean culture.
