Description

For Action Fletcher, his expectant girlfriend DeAnne, and their three kids, the proceed to small Steuben, Vermont, provides a new start and new hope. But in the first, eight-year-old Stevieis existence there's an endless parade of catastrophe and distress. Brutally ostracized at his college, Stevie excursions further and further into herself -- and into several fictional friends and an odd video game. But there's something spooky about his faithful, unseen fresh friends: each gives the title of the kid that has recently disappeared in the sleepy Southern city.
