Priscilla Phipps won't be discouraged from her objective, even when this means facing as much as the effective Wyoming Stock Grower's Association and cattle barons like Adam Whittington, who need the homesteaders--the individuals who are helping the paper Priscilla is attempting to determine--pushed out-of Wyoming. But Adam has their own way of managing the spinster whois offending every cattleman in the region, increasing havoc together with his libido, and putting a damper on his run for mayor of Cheyenne. And Priscilla, a maiden girl who's never been moved with a guy in her life, abruptly finds himself lusting after unacceptable wishes.
