In 523 BC, the Local pharaoh Cambyses sent an army across Egypt’s american leave to ruin the oracle at Siwa. Story has it that somewhere in the centre of the Truly Amazing Dune Ocean his military was overrun with a sandstorm and lost permanently. Two and a half millennia afterwards a mutilated corpse is washed-up on the banks of the Nile at Luxor, an antique dealer is cruelly killed in Cairo, and a British archaeologist is located dead at the old necropolis of Saqqara.The occurrences seem unconnected, but Inspector Yusuf Khalifa of the Luxor authorities is dubious, as-is the archaeologist’s child, Tara Mullray. Attracted right into a maze of intrigue, betrayal, and violence with a strange hieroglyphic fragment and rumors of the mythological missing grave, what started as a search for the reality becomes a battle for survival.
