Something is very wrong at Symphony Hall. Luigi Spadafini, the concertis celebrity conductor, has been murdered—and the whole band has confessed to the offense. This is actually the clutter that Investigator Lieutenant Pratt walks into one Sunday morning. Overworked and exhausted, he is also stuck with Investigator Ellis, the most recent person in the murder team and still very wet-behind the ears.
