Description

On the wish of the mother, a procession has quit the blistering heat of Edo, destined for the cooler-climate of Mount Fuji. Among her traveling companions are Reiko, the gorgeous wife of Sano Ichir_, the shogun’s Most Honorable Investigator of Events, Situations, and People; Reiko’s buddy Midori, nine weeks pregnant; and Woman Yanagisawa, the deranged wife of the shogun’s effective second-in-command. Not one of them anticipate the journey. When their procession is halted abruptly on the deserted street but their problems have just started.
