In a surprising turn of events, their votes will be cast by all writers for the Wexburg Academy Times for next year's editor—and it appears like Savvy's election will function as the tie-breaker! She must choose from an awful-woman-made-good, having a sudden curiosity about allowing Savvy get what she wishes, and the prickly Hazelle, who guarantees very little. Savvy subsequently finds himself wrapped up in a brand new, apparently harmless but possibly harmful exercise.
