Description

It is 1942.  Louise Pearlie, a young widow, has arrived at Washington DC to work with the renowned Office of Strategic Services, the precursor to the CIA.  When she finds a record in regards to the spouse of her university buddy Rachel Bloch-a young German Jewish lady she's frantically concerned about-Louise realizes she might be in a position to help Rachel escape from Vichy France.  However a coworker whose help Louise has recruited is killed, and she realizes she's on her own, struggling to trust anybody,
