Sixteen-year-old Dani is confident she's eight lives. As a young child she twice strolled from circumstances where she must have died. But Dani’s double, Jena, isn’t therefore lucky.  She's cancer and mightn't actually manage to maintain her one life. Dani’s dad is in denial. Her mom is attempting to put on it together and show everything’s normal.  And Jena is losing away.  To deal, Dani sets out to clear herself of her additional lives.  Perhaps they’ll be-released in to the world and someone who desires to reside significantly more than she does can get one.  Somebody like Jena.  But just when Dani finds herself in the splitting point, she’s confronted with a surprising realization.  Perhaps she doesn’t have nine lives after all.  Perhaps she actually only ever endured one.
