Ensign Andrew Dahl has only been given for the Universal Union Money Vessel Smart, flagship of the Universal Union because the year 2456. It’s a status publishing, and Tim is delighted even more to be designated for the ship’s Xenobiology lab. Existence couldn’t be better…until Tim starts to get on the truth that (1) every Absent Objective entails some type of life-threatening conflict with unfamiliar forces, (2) the ship’s skipper, its primary technology officer, and the fine Lieutenant Kerensky always endure these fights, and (3) a minumum of one low-rated team member is, unfortunately, always murdered. Unsurprisingly, a good deal of power below units is expendedon avoiding, no matter what, being designated to an Away Mission.
