Oneday while in the Big Woods, Regular Josie gets up and helplessly watches her immediate family is killed by a Shifter virus within their distant wilderness homestead. Josie doesn't have option but to transport on. She's required to brave the wooded Crazy alone, leading a string of pack horses with all of the materials she may have the ability to her dad's Shifter outpost--back to where she became referred to as just a little Regular woman who could kick butt with the very best Shifters, back to where she fell in love with the only real Shifter she could actually mate.
